Who really does more
at home?

FairPlay assigns household chores with a coin flip and tracks each partner's effort with points. Make the invisible visible.

You know the feeling.

One of you always ends up doing more. The other doesn't notice — not because they don't care, but because the work is invisible.

Planning meals, restocking groceries, wiping down counters, remembering the vet appointment. The mental load adds up. And when it finally comes up in conversation, it turns into the same argument.

“I do everything around here.”
“That's not true, I just did the dishes.”

The problem isn't laziness. It's that the mental load is invisible — and what you can't see, you can't share. FairPlay makes it visible.

How it works

Setup takes less than a minute. No account needed.

1

Add both partners

Enter your names, pick your colors. Takes less time than deciding whose turn it is to cook.

2

Pick your tasks

Choose from common household chores or add custom ones. Each task is weighted by effort — because mopping and cooking are not the same job.

3

Flip and done

The coin decides — weighted by who's done less. No negotiating, no guilt-tripping. The more you've done, the less likely you land the next one.

A fairer home starts with visibility

Not all tasks carry the same mental load.

Taking out the trash isn't the same as meal-prepping for a family of four. Every task carries a point value based on real effort and mental load — so the balance reflects reality, not just task count.

See the imbalance before it becomes a fight.

A live dashboard tracks who's carrying what. When one partner has 70% of the points, you don't need to have 'the talk' — the numbers do it for you.

Your household, your rules.

Choose from a wide range of built-in tasks or add your own. Walking the dog, scheduling the plumber, remembering to buy toilet paper — if it counts as work, it belongs in FairPlay.

Common questions

What if the coin flip feels unfair?

The flip isn't random — it's weighted by the current balance. The more you've contributed, the less likely you land the next one. Over time, the split naturally evens out.

Is my data shared anywhere?

No. Everything stays on your phone. We don't collect names, scores, or any personal data. When you delete the app, it's gone.

Can I add tasks that aren't in the default list?

Yes. Anything that counts as household work can be added — scheduling appointments, calling the landlord, buying birthday gifts. You name it, you track it.

Does it work for roommates or just couples?

It's designed for two people sharing a home. Couples, roommates, siblings — if you split chores, FairPlay works.

How much does it cost?

FairPlay is a paid app available on the App Store. No surprise charges — billing goes through Apple, and you can check the price on the store page before downloading.

Your mental load deserves to be seen.
