1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the FairPlay mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

FairPlay is a household task distribution application that helps couples assign and track household chores using a coin-flip mechanic and a points-based system. The App is available on iOS.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using FairPlay, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

FairPlay offers subscription plans (monthly and yearly) that provide access to the full feature set. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store.

  • Payment is charged to your App Store account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's account settings.
  • No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.

5. User Data

All data you enter into FairPlay (partner names, tasks, scores) is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App.
  • Redistribute or resell access to the App.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding in FairPlay are owned by FairPlay and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FairPlay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
